Since the first GOALS Soccer Camp season opened in 1978, over 11,000 girls aged 8-18 have enjoyed the finest all-girls soccer camp anywhere.  For 30 years, GOALS has focused on and excelled in soccer training for the female athlete.

For 30 years, Paul Heenehan has promoted girls soccer at the high school and camp levels. Heenehan, the owner and co-director of GOALS, has coached the Ramapo High School varsity girls soccer teams to a 586-58-31 record with one NSCAA National Championship, eleven New Jersey State Championships, nineteen New Jersey Group 3 North 1 Championships, twelve Bergen County Championships, and twenty-three League Championships.  Not only is Heenehan a member of the NJSIAA Hall of Fame, but he was recently inducted into Ramapo High School's Athletic Hall of Fame.

Lizanne Coyne, who was a camper in the early 80's, is also a director.  Coyne was an All-State performer for Ramapo High School and went on to compete at the NCAA Division I level at Providence College.   After Providence, Coyne coached at the NCAA Division I and III levels.
She is now the Head of School at a local private school and continues to coach at the travel youth level.   Like Heenehan, Coyne was also inducted into the Ramapo High School Hall of Fame.

The GOALS Camp staff, predominately women, are all past campers and coaches of girls' teams at either the high school or collegiate level.   Their experiences, abilities, and understanding of how to teach the game of soccer to female athletes are unrivaled.

Two one-full week day camp sessions are held at Ramapo High School in Franklin Lakes while one-full week of an overnight session is conducted at Blair Academy in Blairstown, NJ.
